Prospecting Without Selling - Sponsor Others
Into Your MLM Business Effortlessly
What is the buzz about
Attraction Marketing? Is it really possible to have people
interested in your business calling you, instead of the
other way around?
Or, in other words – have leads chasing you instead of you
chasing them?
How would you
like to be pursued by your prospects, and have them invite
you to share more about your opportunity and a partnership
with you?
There really is
a psychology behind prospecting and sponsoring, and much of
it has to do with leadership. Why do some people brand new
to the business seem to sponsor right off the bat and almost
effortlessly?
Others struggle
and seem to go nowhere? Ever experienced
this?
And, many people
seem to think it has something to do with the "sizzle call"
or script they are using, when really, that has nothing to
do with it. There is no secret or holy grail, sorry to
say.
Your first goal,
believe it or not, is not to sell your prospects on your
specific product or opportunity. (Yeah, right, I can hear
you saying!) But, really, it's not. Someone who is SOLD into
the business is not a committed business partner. You'll be
spending a whole lot more time selling, I can assure
you.
And, wouldn't
you agree - selling and sponsoring is hard work! Who wants
to be sold? No one lines up screaming – "Sell Me!"
Actually, when a
prospect asks me to "go ahead, give my spiel", I refuse. And
I tell them that I refuse. I don’t want to sell anyone, and
I don't want them to think they are going to be selling
someone.
I want them to WANT to buy or get involved with me. I want it
to be all their idea. I want them to sell
themselves.
Interesting shift, when you think about it, right?
Here is my take on it -
The power of technology and the
internet has made it possible to do this in a whole
new way. And, when done right, it works amazingly well and
will get you well on your way to that six figure
income.
Your goal is to put yourself out there as trusted friend and
advisor; someone who has been through the same school of hard
knocks and graduated! You are someone who can help open doors
and shed some light on how to be successful,
finally.
That isn't done by pitching your opportunity. That is done by
sharing your knowledge and insight; offering value up front;
being the solution to a problem.
Educate yourself; offer value and put yourself out there as a
trusted advisor and people will find you; and come to you; and
contact you; and sponsor with you.
Which would you rather do – continue to "dial for dollars" and
play the numbers game?
Or, position yourself in such a way that people find you;
contact you and are already interested in knowing
more?
