How to Coach Yourself Through Business Challenges
Some things to ponder if you are struggling in your business.
Quite often, people don’t get results with whatever it is they are pursuing.
Has that ever happened to you?
It can be baffling, because if it works for one person, why would it not work for another? Or everyone?
Here is something worth noting. Most everything out there actually will work.
A diet, joining and sticking with a gym and fitness program, building a network marketing business, building any business.
But, it won’t work for everyone.
The biggest reason is because they quit. But, most QUIT before they actually quit.
In fact, they never start. So, in fact, they never really do the work.
They measure themselves up against others who ARE doing the work, and are seeing results, but they don’t quite dial in on what the problem was.
It’s kind of like “Can’t or Won’t.”
You can’t do something? OR you won’t do something. Small difference, big shift.
Results can be tricky. And, always worth evaluating.
When you don’t get the results you want, how often do you take a step back and “hack it?”
Break it down and figure out WHY you are getting the results you are.
It all starts with how you think about something. Are you focused on the lack of it, or the expectation of it.
Let that settle in for a moment.
Lack or Expectation?
Lack is thinking and feeling, I want this so bad and it is not here yet. Maybe the universe does not want me to have it. Maybe I’ve made a wrong choice.
Expectation is thinking and asking - who must I become to attract this into my life sooner rather than later?
And, what would that person do each day to create that into their reality?
Now, measure that against who you are showing up as and creating the results you are.
Are they aligned?
Do you have some work to do?
Do you understand that first you have to master your thoughts before you master your actions, which create your results?
When you choose not to quit (and, you actually do START) you will figure it out.
Everything is figureoutable.
EVERYTHING.
Heck, we’ve put people on the moon; have a computer we can hold in our hand with more brains than the spaceship that shot to the moon - so surely whatever it is that you want to master has a solution you can find!
If something isn’t working for you, what might happen if you took full responsibility for that? If you asked the right questions of yourself -
What must I do differently? How must I shift my thoughts?
How will I figure this out?
Imagine if you committed to never quitting again, and realizing the ability to find the answers is within you.
My client Jana kept running into this over and over again. What seemed like dead ends.
Talking to people who had no interest in her health and wellness products, posting 3-5 times a day on social with nothing.
When she came to me, she was ready to throw in the towel, skeptical, and quite sure nothing was really going to work for her.
The first thing we did is dig into WHY she felt that way. We uncovered the thoughts and feelings she had about simply talking to people.
She did a lot of internal work on what, within her, was causing the disconnect with people.
After all, if it worked for anyone, it could work for anyone, right?
It could.
But there would have to be a shift.
Not a shift in the products, or company. Those were proven and working fine. But, instead, a shift in how SHE was approaching things.
First, in her thoughts and feelings, and then in her actions.
How she showed up.
How she related to people. How she had conversations with them.
No one wants to be sold. Yet, we all love to buy when it feels right.
